* In order to accommodate working professionals, the workshop will only take place during the evening hours on Sunday & Monday. However additional morning filming sessions will be offered on both days to the first 25 participants who are available during the morning and afternoon hours.

American HD Film Workshop - Day One:


The American HD Film Workshop will teach you the essential directing & cinematography techniques that will have you shooting your independent film at a budget you can actually afford. You will learn how to use certain camera angles to intensify dramatic scenes, learn the benefits of natural versus artificial light sources to create the desired ambiance, the secrets behind positioning your actors and how to make them hit the mark in every single shot. Introduction to independent filmmaking, Storyboarding, Setting up various shots, Basic camera operations & techniques, Sound recording & using different kind of microphones, lighting equipment & design, and an introduction to non-linear editing software, etc.
